Saree & Blouse

Veuxo sells sarees and saree blouses in Ireland, priced in euro and shipped from within Ireland. Stretch blouses start at €19.99, cotton sarees at €26.99, and sarees that come with a stitched blouse run from €32.99 to €44.99. Every order ships from within Ireland, so Irish customers pay no customs charges or import VAT, unlike when ordering from India or the UK. Standard orders are dispatched within a week, with delivery expected within 4–5 business days from dispatch.

Stitched blouse or stretch blouse?

The hardest part of buying a saree outside India is usually the blouse, not the saree. Finding a tailor in Ireland who can cut a saree blouse in time for an event is not easy, so this page puts sarees and ready-made blouses together.

  • Saree with a stitched blouse: our kasavu, Banarasi and Raga Tissue sarees marked "with stitched blouse" arrive ready to wear in your chosen size, so there is no tailoring needed.
  • Silk side-stretchable blouse (€19.99): one free size, with stretch panels at the sides. It fits a 40 bust and extends up to 44. It comes in black, white, off-white, red, rani pink, royal blue, bottle green, green and mustard, so it can match almost any saree you already own.

How to measure for a saree blouse

Measure over the bra you plan to wear, with the tape snug but not tight.

  • Bust: around the fullest part. This is the number our size chart uses in inches (M 38, L 40, XL 42, XXL 44, XXXL 46).
  • Under-bust: directly below the bust. It helps you judge whether a combined size (M-L, XL-XXL) will sit snugly.
  • Blouse length: from shoulder to where you want the hem, usually just below the under-bust.

If you fall between sizes, choose the larger one. A stitched blouse can be taken in, but it cannot be let out much.

Sarees for Irish occasions

Onam falls in August or September, and Kerala associations across Ireland hold sadya lunches and cultural programmes around it. White-and-gold kasavu sarees, including one with Malayalam-script motifs, are the classic choice. For weddings and Diwali, Banarasi soft-silk and georgette sarees in rani pink, mustard and sea green look good under indoor lighting on a grey Irish evening. Add a light cardigan or shawl, because October functions can be cold.
